Wish List:

Each member will have an option to select 3 items as their Primary items and 2 items to be Secondary items in 4th and 5th position to be added to the Wish List. We will continue to use the Wish List to determine lotting order between members based on a first in, first out basis. Primary items and Secondary items have the same weight on the Wish List. Whether a member is eligible to lot on an item or not, once they are in a position on the Wish List they will not be moved down on the list unless they remove the item from their Wish List or are removed from the shell.

When items drop that multiple members have on their Wish List, the item will be lotted by the top person on the list who is present and is eligible for the drop based on rules defined below in Determining Eligibility. If the top person is ineligible to lot, the next person in line will have lotting rights. In the event that nobody is eligible to lot on an item, that item will go freelot to all members present including those members who have it on their Wish List but are ineligible.

When a member completes an item and frees up a place on their Wish List, they can add another item to it and will be allowed to reallocate their list, moving items between Primary and Secondary positions if they so choose.

Attendance:

Each member is expected to attend 3 runs each week. This is the minimum number of runs to be eligible to lot on your Primary items. If a member maintains 4 runs a week they will additionally be eligible for their 4th position item. Consistently attending 5 runs a week will make a member eligible for all Primary and Secondary items. If a member does not attend at least 3 runs a week for a period of 2 weeks or more, we will consider that member inactive (see Accommodations for Absences).

The expectation for an attended run is that the member is online, in Linkshell (or communicating with leadership) no later than 20 minutes prior to enter time and that they have a Remnants Permit or enough AP to be able to purchase one. Failure to be available and on time for an attended run will result in a warning. Repeated or reoccurring issues with this will result in docked attendance.

While we will still ask members to be proactive about notifying leadership of missed runs, excused and unexcused misses will be weighted the same in determining eligibility.

Determining Eligibility:

To avoid issues related to selective attendance, the previous 2 weeks will be used in determining lot eligibility. Attendance from the previous two weeks will be averaged and floored to determine the eligibility for the following week.

For example, if a member attends 3 runs in Arrapago and 5 runs in Bhaflau, they will be eligible their Primary and 4th Secondary position items during the first week of Silver Sea.
(3+5)/2 = 4

If that same member goes on to attend 5 runs in Silver Sea, they will be eligible for all Primary and Secondary items the following week.
(5+5)/2 = 5

If during the second week of Silver Sea that member can only attend 4 runs, they will go into Zhayolm eligible for their Primary and 4th Secondary position items.
(5+4)/2 = 4.5, floored to 4

Though members are free to determine this information on their own based on the attendance calendar, this is not the expectation. Leadership will update eligibility information alongside the Wish List. We will do our best to make the Wish List and attendance records as current and transparent as possible. It is our goal to make sure that any member can look at the Wish List and determine who will have lotting priority for any given run.

Note that if a member misses a week of runs, no matter what their attendance is the following week they will not be able to be eligible for their Primary or Secondary items the week that they return. (5+0)/2 = 2.5, floored to 2 which is ineligible for drops. If we see members consistently missing certain zones, this rule will be modified to prevent abuse.

Accommodations for Absences :

To encourage consistent attendance, we will allow members to accrue a Float Day to be used against a missed run and not have it count against their attendance average. Members with perfect attendance will accrue a Float Day after 2 consecutive weeks. Averaging 4 runs a week will accrue a Float Day after 3 weeks and averaging 3 runs a week will accrue a Float Day after 4 weeks. Float Days do not stack and no more than 1 can be accrued at any given time. Once a member uses their Float Day, beginning the following week they can start to accrue another Float Day.

We understand that this is a game and that life happens, often times abruptly. If you are unable to attend for a prolonged period of time due to illness, vacation, account issues or whatnot please be proactive about communicating it with leadership.

The attendance structure is already equipped to handle short term breaks of up to a week. If a member has an approved leave of absence for 2 weeks or more, they will need to work with leadership to consider the appropriate actions, including possibly going back to probation or moving them down in position on their Wish List items. These will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If we do not hear from a member for more than a 2 week period of time, we will assume that they have removed themselves from the shell. We will, accordingly, remove them from the Wish List and member roster.
